PGE (Polyglycerol Esters of Fatty Acids)
Polyglycerol esters of fatty acids, also known as Emulsifier E475 and Emulsifiers PGE is compounds formed from glycerol and fatty acids. PGE has good stability and not easy to decomposed under high temperature and light conditions. CAS NO. is 67784-82-1.
Applications:
The most widely used field of polyglycerol esters of fatty acids (PGE) is food industry. Its main functions include emulsification, viscosity adjustment, crystallization adjustment, quality improvement and antibacterial. AUCO PGE can be used in lactic acid drinks, ice cream, bread, cakes, biscuits, chocolate, and meat products.
Emulsifiers PGE is safe for human body and can be added to detergents. Even if there are residues, they will not cause harm. Polyglycerol fatty acid esters can also be added to facial cleansers, soaps, shower gels, shampoos, lipsticks, etc. It has functions of emulsification, stabilization and moisturizing.
In plastic and rubber processing, Emulsifier E475 has heat resistance and can be used as plasticizer, lubricant, antistatic agent and anti-fog agent.
