Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate (SAPP)

Sodium acid pyrophosphate is an inorganic compound. Its CAS NO. is: 7758-16-9. It appears as white crystalline powder or granules, which is relatively stable at room temperature and decompose at high temperatures. Auroroa Industry Co., Ltd has two types of SAPP: SAPP 28 and SAPP 40.


Applications:

Food grade: Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate can be used as a food additive, buffer, leavening agent, binder, stabilizer, chelating agent and emulsifier. It can stabilize PH value and keep food fresh.


Metal surface treatment: SAPP can be used as a metal surface treatment agent to remove oxides and rust, which improving the adhesion of the metal surface.


Other uses: Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate can be used as a buffer and reagent in chemical analysis.
