Mono Sodium Phosphate (MSP)
Mono sodium phosphate is a white crystalline solid which is odorless at room temperature. CAS NO. is: 7558-80-7.
Applications:
In food industry, MSP is used to adjust the acidity and antioxidant properties of food. It is a food quality improver.
In agriculture, mono sodium phosphate (MSP) is used as a phosphorus source in fertilizers as well as a feed additive.
Monosodium phosphate can also be used to prepare detergents and reactive dye additives. In addition, MSP is a raw material for the manufacture of sodium hexametaphosphate and sodium pyrophosphate.
