Applications:
In the daily chemical industry, sorbitol is used as an excipient, moisturizer, and antifreeze in toothpaste to keep the paste lubricated; in cosmetics, it is used as an anti-desiccant to enhance stretchability.
Food grade sorbitol 70% is used as a humectant in breads and cakes. It has low sweetness and popular used in the production of sugar-free candies. Sorbitol liquid also improves color, flavor and widely used in fish sauces and jam preserves.
In medicine, sorbitol solution 70% can be used as a raw material for the production of vitamin C. It also can be used as a raw material for syrups, injections and tablets.
