Albendazole

Albendazole, CAS NO.: 54965-21-8, white or off-white powder, odorless, tasteless, insoluble in water, slightly soluble in acetone or chloroform, it is an organic compound and an imidazole derivative broad-spectrum anthelmintic drug. Albendazole has been included in the World Health Organization Model List of Essential Medicines and is one of the most important essential health medicines.

Applications:

Albendazole is mainly used as a high-efficiency broad-spectrum anthelmintic. It is one of the benzimidazole drugs with a wide anthelmintic spectrum and the strongest insecticidal effect. It also has an obvious effect on repelling various nematodes, schistosomiasis, tapeworms and cysticerci that parasitize the human body. It is suitable for expelling roundworms, pinworms, hookworms, whipworms, treating various types of cysticercosis. Albendazole powder can also be used for deworming animals.
